OUR NORDIC BREATH
The mountains of the Sunnmøre Alps rises high and steep over the water surface and protects the fjord from the winter sun.
The wind got real bite to it and can carve lines into your skin, as if she tries to make sure you will never forget her.
But I find the fjords of western Norway to be a real treasure. Even when she spits and screams.
There is a beauty and a hardship. A calmness but always with an edge.
This landscape and weather shape the people living here and when the sun finally peaks through over the mountains,
the locals takes a deep breath and might even take a moment to enjoy the incredible sights and scenery.
It can be harsh living here with constant weather changes but there is also a deep respect for nature and especially the sea,
and it forces you to stay in the moment. I think we all can use a little more of that.
Cold fingers, curious eyes, a way of life where you can almost taste our Nordic breath.
Stay in the moment but know it can change. That is true for so many things out there.
